Remark: The article on the Nanga Parbat mission was published posthumously by Luft. Oddly enough, Hepp wrote in his diary that Hartmann had barred him from participating in the experiments, since only Luft and Hartmann were researchers for the Air Ministry, with Hepp only being in charge as surgeon for the climbers.
