Remark: Weltz was accused of conspiracy to commit war crimes and crimes against humanity and committing war crimes and crimes against humanity at the doctor trials for his involvement in the hypothermia experiments at Dachau concentration camp. He was acquitted, since he managed to lay all the blame on Rascher.
